    A graduate of Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois, Mike has a BA in English and a Law Degree.

    He was admitted to practice by the Illinois Supreme Court and the Federal Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1994. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2005.

    In 2011, Mike was elected a Bloomingdale Village Trustee . He was re-elected to a second term in 2015 and served as chair of Planning, Zoning and Environmental Affairs, and as a member of the Intergovernmental - Planning Committee of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference.

    In 2017  Mike was elected Bloomingdale Township Supervisor.
     
    Mike is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, MENSA, Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce, Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce, Roselle Chamber of Commerce, and Township Officials of Illinois.

    Mike has been the President of the Bloomingdale School District 13 Education Foundation, since it was founded in 1998. The foundation is a charitable tax exempt organization which raises money for Bloomingdale Elementary School District 13.

    Mike is also a board member and Secretary of the Hank Gianvecchio Natural Habitat Area Foundation, and a board member of the Bloomingdale Parks Foundation.
